Leeds is hosting the 2019 UK Critical Care Research Group Meeting 6th & 7th June. There are a host of interesting sessions planned including “Experience from the Scandinavian Clinical Trials Group” – Anders Perner and sessions on the future of AI and ICU.

We are involved in numerous portfolio studies including REST, STARRT AKI, FLOELA, Adapt Sepsis, Stress L, A2B, & RemCap.

We are also running a number of in house research and quality improvement programs including:

  • Sustained Low Efficiency Dialysis
  • Code Red Investigations of incidents
  • Intentional Rounding
  • Safety Huddles
  • CRRT improvement program
  • Delerium identification and management

There is significant opportunity to become involved in such projects whilst working with us as a trainee, trust grade doctor or advanced nurse practitioner.
