New sim sessions have been going down really well with very positive feedback. Dates pencilled in for 16th April and 7th June. Please get in touch with James Beck, David Moir or Claire Dobson if interested. We’re still on the case to obtain our own kit so we can do impromptu in situ sessions too.

Another successful sim day, with the some excellent emergency management from the teams. Next one will be advertised shortly, aimed at everyone from new band 5’s to senior ICU registrars.
NEJM link No mortality difference at 28 or 90 days but reduced days initial ventilation (but not total ventilator free days), reduced days of shock, shorter ICU stay and reduced blood transfusion rates. Interesting stuff.
